Coffin information form

Coffin information form

Please take a look at the information below and complete what you can. I appreciate you will have a lot on your mind right now and may well be feeling slightly overwhelmed.  This information will help us to have a productive conversation when we speak and not take up too much of your time.

My telephone number is 07917582572.  I live in Nunney.  Thanks Mary

There are two types of coffins available: Depending on which type you choose, I currently need at least a week, potentially two. We will need to discuss the options available at the time when we speak. If you have a preference please select below
Honeysuckle – is woven using stripped willow, buff (honey coloured) and white willow. This can sometimes be harder to get hold of. Quicker to make as the soaking time to prepare the willow is less.
Elderflower or bramble – is woven using a brown willow (depending on the variety available this would give a slightly different colour) and buff or white willow for detail. I will need at least a week to prepare the willow.

Cost

There are three standard sizes which range from £800 to £830 to £850.  Other sizes are available and the price will vary accordingly.

I require a £300 part payment prior to starting your coffin. The balance will be due on delivery. I will invoice you once you have made a decision and we have confirmed everything.

Name plate

It is a legal requirement to have a nameplate fixed to a coffin.  At the very least it needs the name of the deceased, date of birth and date of death but you can add other words if you choose.  They are made locally, normally using oak and laser printed by a local Frome firm.

There are two different fonts available that I will share with you.

The cost of the nameplate is – £25
